You can probably already tell from the title of this post – there’s a HUGE Stella & Dot SITE WIDE sale going on!! I am SO excited for this sale because I know a lot of you guys love Stella & Dot but wish that it was a bit less expensive (I get it!). Ten of the 11 freshmen have already seen playing time through seven games. The 11 freshmen are tied for the 11th most in the NCAA this season. The freshmen class features four players from Georgia, two from Florida, and one each from South Carolina, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Washington and Argentina. The Owls brought in a trio of transfers, Morgan Thomas (Kansas), Kaylee Hammer (Cincinnati) and Madelyn Baucom (Virginia Tech). KSU features 14 newcomers, 11 of which are freshmen. Jensen was the first true freshman to score in a season opener since Alma Gardarsdottir did so in 2010. Jensen achieved the same feat in the season opener against South Alabama. Appearing in her first game as an Owl against UAB, Allen connected on her first career goal. Miller also ranks first on the KSU squad in minutes, playing in 620 out of 630 minutes.įreshmen Stella Allen and Mai Jensen have both scored in their season debuts this season. Jensen scored in her season debut against South Alabama. Singarella leads the team in shots with 13 and added an assist and the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over Presbyterian. In just four appearances, Allen is tied for the lead on the team with two goals on just four shots. Stella Allen, Chiara Singarella, Mai Jensen and Allanah Blye have all made an impact for the Owls early this season. Georgia Southern fell 4-0 to Georgia and tied the UAB Blazers 1-1. KSU and Georgia Southern have shared two common opponents leading up to Sunday's game. Kaylee Hammer, Caeden Price, Hayley Dekker, Ebony Clarke, Becky Contreras, Camryn Simmons, Kendall Higgs, AJ Needham and Erin Miller will be recognized on Sunday. The nine seniors have combined to play in 304 games during their time at KSU. Nine seniors will take part in Senior Day festivities on Sunday. The Owls are 0-1-1 facing off against Sun Belt schools this season.
KSU has had sustained success against teams from the Sun Belt, posting a 14-6-4 record against teams currently in the league. The last time the two teams met, KSU outlasted the Eagles 1-0 on Sept. The Owls hold a 2-1-1 advantage over Georgia Southern. In the final non-conference regular season match, the Kennesaw State women's soccer team welcomes Georgia Southern for Senior Day on Sunday.
